Whitesboro Middle School is a 7th and 8th grade building with approximately 400 students and 53 staff members. They are located in the Whitesboro Central School District, the gateway to the Adirondacks. The staff works collaboratively to provide a nurturing, holistic learning environment. They encourage family and community to share in the responsibility of educating our children. Deerfield Elementary has strong family support; they have a committed Parent Teacher Association that supports our quality educational programs in a warm, nurturing learning environment.
Whitesboro Middle School wants all students to be safe, engaging environment that values all members of the community and encourages them to pursue their full potential as life-long learners and respectful citizens. The teachers make every effort to incorporate literacy learning in all areas of learning: social studies, science, math, health, physical education, and the arts.
Parents with children attending Whitesboro Middle School enjoy the fact the district have small classrooms, caring, dedicated teachers, and the desire of the school for parent involvement. Parents are welcome to visit anytime and even enjoy eating lunch with their child or help in the classroom.
