Whitesboro High School is located at Route 291 Marcy, NY and provides education for grades 9-12. Their motto was developed by our Strategic Planning Site Committee as part of our building's mission statement. It correlates directly to our District's mission statement which makes reference to our District as "the paragon of educational excellence." This philosophy drives all decisions made at the District and building levels in such areas as staffing, curriculum, and instructional practice.

Whitesboro High School was not satisfied with the status quo but instead focus on continuous improvement. It is our objective that 100% of our students will exceed, not just meet, all state and local requirements. All students will attain their goals at the next level of challenge. The goal is to provide our students with a multitude of opportunities to "stretch" their abilities and actually expand their potential. Towards this aim, we strongly encourage our students to not be satisfied with just meeting the minimum requirements, but instead taking advantage of all available opportunities to challenge themselves by striving to obtain an Advanced Regents Diploma rather than just a Regents Diploma taking that extra Math or Science course, or even an Advanced Placement course.

Whitesboro High School has high expectations for all of our students and believe that working together collaboratively, students, parents, staff, and community, our students will not only meet their expectations for excellence, but exceed them.
