As the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution in the 1800s and America’s Uncle Sam, Troy is a city rich in history and diversity. Today, Troy is the perfect place to work and call home. Significant investments in the downtown and surrounding areas have revitalized the city. It is now considered one of the Tech Valley region’s fastest growing areas for business.
Parents just arriving will find this School makes great efforts to ensure that core curriculum is meaningful, innovative, and abides by the New York State learning standards. The curriculum coordinator works closely with administration, grade levels, and departments to ensure that curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students. Additionally, staff analyzes state and local test results as a means of changing curriculum and instruction.
The School invites parents to get involved and firmly believes its right, as parents can contribute to the success of the school to help guide the school board to ensure all students receive the best education possible while maintaining a social environment for the students to learn and grow into mature upstanding citizens.
