Tapestry Charter School is actually two schools under the same directive, the Tapestry Charter School for students in kindergarten through eighth grade and Tapestry Charter High School.

The Tapestry Charter School’s mission is to give students a challenging and thorough education within an educational environment that accentuates variety, consideration, teamwork, community, originality, and direction, thus providing all students with the ability to succeed both academically and socially as well as becoming prepared to be leaders in their community. The Tapestry Charter School offers a quality educational program that meets the needs of all students as well as meeting or exceeding the New York State standards for learning. Students that graduate from Tapestry Charter School are ready to meet the requirements of their high school years as well as appreciate learning and their community.

The Tapestry Charter High School is an Expeditionary Learning School with high expectations for every student. The staff as well as the teachers provide meticulous academics, instill teamwork, work with the whole child for physical and mental fitness, encourage family and community involvement, and provide a well-rounded education that will give the students the ability to achieve their goals.

The goals of Tapestry Charter School is to ensure each student graduates with a Regents diploma or Advanced Regents diploma, that all students will be ready to enter college, will be confident, and will be caring and knowledgeable citizens.
