About
Taconic Hills High School is located at 73 County Route 11A Craryville, NY. This school serves the community of Craryville for its education needs for grades 9 through 12 in Columbia County, New York. This High School has a comprehensive core curriculum, consistent with State and local graduation expectations. Elective courses include second languages, art, research, technology, home and careers, business, computers, and instrumental and vocal music. Career exploration and occupational education utilize work study, job shadowing, mentoring and vocational training at the nearby Questar III Educational Center.
The High School P.T.O. offers an opportunity for parents, teachers and community members to participate in school activities. The frequency and quality of enrichment activities that the P.T.O. is able to sponsor during the school year depends, to a large degree, on the number of people who attend meetings and become involved. We hope that there will be many people this school year willing to give some of their time to this important organization.
Staff, teachers, parents, and the community strive to provide the best in educational tools and excellent teachers that work right along side one another for the betterment of not only the educational opportunities but the pride of living in rural New York. Teachers are dedicated to providing the best environment where students will learn and grow in order to become successful in all they endeavor throughout life.
