Main Street Elementary School is located at 205 South Main Street North Syracuse, NY and provides education for grades PK in Onondaga County. School officials believe that a positive and collaborative relationship between the school, parents and community is vital to our children’s academic, social and emotional growth and well being. The teachers and staff are committed to providing the very best educational experience for your child and we are all eager to work closely and collaboratively with you throughout the entire school year.

This New York public school abides by the New York State Board of Regents adopted learning standards for all areas of study. The New York State Education Department issues the core curricula and these core curricula’s are the foundation upon which State assessments are aligned and developed. There is an abundance of student services available within the school system starting at pre-school age and up to the 21 year old that want to continue their education. The staff includes a School Psychologist, Director of Student Support Services, and a department Secretary.

The support received from parents/guardians is tremendously important to the schools educational program and the overall success that your child experiences. Parental input on all matters related to your child’s education is encouraged.
