Saunders Trades & Technical High School applies strong importance on literature and the writing process. Teachers develop thematic units supported by diverse reading materials and the school provides students with the opportunity to create their own bound books. This enhances their skills in planning, writing, editing and drawing. The Saunders School community takes pride in accomplishments of the district and its educational advancements. The district itself prides itself on working with parents, staff, and the community to make certain that each child understands that learning is not only in the classroom but extends to many activities throughout their lives.

Saunders Trades & Technical High School students are learning architecture, engineering construction, surveying, landscape design, and estimating and facilities management. Technology is at the top of the list of studies, to ensure every student can and will attain their full potential in every field of study. Parents of students attending Saunders School are appreciative of the excellent teachers, the high standards of the district, and the curriculum of the school. They observe their children learning and achieving at their full potential while enjoying all the school has to offer in education along with extra curricular activities.

The Saunders Trades & Technical High School student’s success would not be possible without the support of the community. Educational programs and services are designed to meet the varying needs of all students and will not discriminate against any individual for reasons of race, creed, color, gender, national origin, economic status or handicap. Teachers work to ensure literacy and language arts skills of the youngest students, ensuring their ability to read, write and think critically in all curricular areas including math, science, social studies, art, music, library skills, and physical education.
