Sackets Harbor Central School

About

Sackets Harbor Central School is located at 215 South Broad Street Sackets Harbor, NY and provides quality education for grades K through 12 for the community of Sackets Harbor.

Incorporating technology into the curriculum requires careful planning, staff development and administrative support. This Technology Plan is based on the belief that a well-designed computer-based technology curriculum will encourage learning and benefit all disciplines. The heart of the Technology Plan focuses on teacher training, curriculum design, instruction, expansion, communication, student data management, and parent and community involvement. New technological developments, are continually being studied and evaluated and will be incorporated into the Technology Plan.

The school must prepare its students for the technological environment they will meet in the years ahead. Only by continually assessing the technological landscape and its implications for learning can we design curricula that will effectively prepare our students for the future.
