Richfield Springs Central School is located at 93 Main Street Richfield Springs, NY and it serves grades K-12 in Otsego County. The school consists of a single building constructed in 1938 with additions in 1949, 1955, 1961, 1976 and 2003. The current enrollment is 656 students. The District is part of the Herkimer County Supervisory District and a component of the Herkimer BOCES. The administrative staff consists of a Superintendent, a K-12 Principal and K-12 Assistant Principal. The professional staff presently numbers 68 full-time, 1 part-time, and 53 non-instructional support staff.

Richfield Springs Central School provides a wide range of challenges in various subjects to meet the needs and talents of the student population including the basic educational needs of Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. The staff and teachers strive to create a learning environment that will promote self worth, respect for others, and the appreciation of learning. Along with this, the teachers and staff are committed to professionalism while creating an educational atmosphere that listens to students with values that offer communication and support.

Richfield Springs Central School has a well maintained facility; a rich technology environment and we provide a wide range of opportunities. The staff is first-rate. They are knowledgeable, energetic, and committed to our students and their families. The school is very fortunate to have such dedicated staff members who care about each other and each child.
