P.S. 83 Donald Hertz School has a long-standing set of expectations for conduct on school property and at school functions. These expectations are based on the principles of civility, mutual respect, citizenship, character, tolerance, honesty and integrity. The staff and teachers work right along with parents to provide one of the best teaching experiences for pupils. There are several different cultures and religions attending Foxfire School so it has a very diverse background of students. Teachers are very committed to teaching these future adults by preparing them for grade advancements while preserving the ethics and cultural environment every parent expects. P.S. 83 School students are learning basic educational skills in math, reading, science, social studies, music, art, and computer. Technology is at the top of the list of studies, to ensure every student can and will attain their full potential in every field of study.
