P.S. 377-Alejandina Benitez De Gautier makes a collaborative effort of students, parents, teachers, and administrators working together in each child achievement. The school also provides extracurricular activities to round their academic curriculum, including Chess and Computer Education, Peer mediation, homework help, focus group, chorus, steel pan, violin, dance, movement and sports teams that along with special programs improve the school learning environment. There are also Reading Recovery practices for first graders and a Extended Day program in mathematics and other reading activities several times a week.
