Primary School number 255 Barbara Reing School serves a student population attending grade levels PK, 0K, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 and SE with an Integrated Curriculum and Instruction Learning Support Organization that strives in the school mission: pursuing the highest physical, intellectual, emotional and social standards for every student with the aid of the school administrations, teachers, staff, parents and community members.

Barbara Reing School achieves this mission providing a series of Academic Programs such as the Teacher's College Reading and Writing Workshop, Library Media Center and After School AIIP. Enrichment Programs that include collaborations with Arts Connection, BookPALS and PencilPALS partnership, Studio in A School, and specialized after school programs, and many other contributing with academic excellence.

Extracurricular activities take also an important place at P.S. 255 with its traditional Halloween Parade, 100th Day of School Celebration, Dance Festival, Holiday Extravaganza, Poem in Your Pocket Celebration, and After School Enrichment programs.
