P.S. 196 Ten Eyck School teachers hold a common belief that their students will achieve because as a community, teachers have high expectations for all, regardless of individual differences, abilities or interests. Children will be inspired by teachers who are committed to making a difference, encouraged by parents who provide support, and empowered for continued growth by a community working together to ensure that every child realizes goals and dreams. P.S. 196 School is an amazing place to work and to attend school. From the time students enter the building early in the morning until dismissal, passion for education and dedication to student learning and achievement are evident in every room. Faculty, staff, and students work together, learn together and grow together.
