Primary School number 195, Manhattan Beach School serves students in grades ranging from PK, 0K, 01, 02, 03, 04, to 05 and SE with the goal to help students to be productive and responsive caring members of a culturally diverse community demanding lifelong learners that eventually become better thinkers.

Manhattan Beach School strives in a compromised partnership between school staff, parents and home environment. Many of the school extracurricular activities reflect this engagement through a Carnival, Ball Room Dancing and a Student Council. There are also special programs such as SCIS -3 Science, Special Education Inclusion Program, Reading Book Buddies, and several others programs and activities.

At this primary school ever classroom has PCs and there are Computer Labs, Academic Intervention Improvement Programs, Reading Recovery, Project Read, Band and Chorus activities, EAGLE II Gifted-Talented programs and Multi-age classes, programs that count with the financial support of the Manhattan Beach Community Group.
