P.S. 18 is located at 412 Hoosick Street Troy, NY and it serves grades K-6. Troy is located on the eastern bank of the Hudson River, just minutes from New York’s capital, Albany. Parents just arriving will find this School makes great efforts to ensure that core curriculum is meaningful, innovative, and abides by the New York State learning standards. The curriculum coordinator works closely with administration, grade levels, and departments to ensure that curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students. Additionally, staff analyzes state and local test results as a means of changing curriculum and instruction.
