P.S. 155 Nicholas Herkimer School is a pre-kindergarten through 5th grade school with a rating of 3 out 5 star rating. The school gives great focus to helping students read and learn math. They offer after school classes to help get the students better at reading and math. The school also has Spanish classes for Hispanic students so they can learn to read and do math as well. They encourage students to celebrate months like Puerto Rican Heritage Month. This helps students learn about the many different cultures. They have been known to put on little skits for the culture. The school does not yet have a gym but they do have gym periods every day. They just simply use the basement extension of the cafeteria they have. Everything is safe and well padded for the student protection. The school has been working to improve their school and make it better for the students to learn.
