P.S. 147 Issac Remsen School works extremely hard to help every student exhibit positive behavior and work to the best of their capabilities both inside and outside the classroom. The committed staff, faculty, and teachers provide many opportunities to learn through standards-based instruction and challenge students in order to prepare them for the New York State Assessments. The staff also helps students to develop the constructive habits essential for success at the next level of their education and for adulthood. They know technology is very important to learn so even at grade and they are learning how to touch type with proper technique. The teachers and other staff officials work hard for all students to be safe, engaging environment that values all members of the community and encourages them to pursue their full potential as life-long learners and respectful citizens. The teachers make every effort to incorporate literacy learning in all areas of learning.
