Port Leyden Elementary School is located at 3336 Lincoln Street Port Leyden, NY and provides excellent education opportunities for grades K through 5 for the community of Port Leyden in Lewis County. As facilitators of learning, Port Leyden teachers use a variety of strategies to enhance academic achievement, address the diverse needs of students, and maintain a favorable learning environment that provides each student an opportunity to apply that knowledge.

At Port Leyden Elementary School, the safety and security of our students is our very highest priority. Second to that priority is the development of each student’s literacy skills.
