The PJHS Parent-Teacher-Student Association works closely to support Port Jervis High School. Their primary mission is to raise enough money to fund their scholarship fund. Meetings are generally about one hour in length with minimal requirements or obligations from the members. Port Jervis spans an area of 2.5 square miles with 36 miles of roads and highways. With easy access to I-84 and other major highways, the City's strategic location provides direct access to rail via the Norfolk-Southern network and to major airports with easy connections to regional and international markets.

Educational technology applications will deepen student engagement and improve student achievement by enabling them to access and analyze information, solve problems, collaborate with others, and communicate their thoughts and ideas. Effective use of learning technologies will allow students to become self-directed, self-motivated, and lifelong learners. Teachers increasingly will be facilitators of student learning through proficient use of learning technologies.

Port Jervis Senior High School is committed to the success of each child in a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment. The school adheres to the belief that all students develop intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially at different paces. The school will inspire students toward achievement, demonstrate commitment to diversity, and continue to develop a strategic plan for future programs and facilities.
