Pines Elementary School students are introduced to the philosophy of Literacy Collaborative and instructed in Language Arts. The PTA and SEPTA groups host a wide variety of programs and events for students. Pines Elementary School wants all students to be safe, engaging environment that values all members of the community and encourages them to pursue their full potential as life-long learners and respectful citizens. The teachers make every effort to incorporate literacy learning in all areas of learning: social studies, science, math, health, physical education, and the arts. Parents with children attending Pines Elementary School enjoy the fact the district has average classrooms, caring, dedicated teachers, and the desire of the school for parent involvement. Parents are welcome to visit anytime and even enjoy eating lunch with their child or help in the classroom.
