Park West High School curriculum is arranged to benefit the students academically and prepare them effectively for advanced education or an easy transition to the work force. Strong emphasis is placed on basic education skills at each level. Every effort is made to maintain an aligned curriculum, which tests students on information they are expected to learn and this information is included in the instruction they receive. Curriculums recognize the integrity of the student’s life as a student and aims to cater for his or her needs and potential as they evolve day by day. By meeting these needs, the curriculum enriches the student’s life and the foundations are laid for happiness and fulfillment in later education and in adult life. Graduates have met or surpassed the New York City and State performance standards and continue on to higher education learning levels.
