Park Avenue School instructional program focuses on the development of literacy and an understanding of basic mathematical concepts. Science and Social Studies are explored during current events as well as integrated into thematic units of study. In addition the following special subjects are offered: Art, Computer, Library, Music and Physical Education. They work on the mission to collaborate with parents and to offer our students a nurturing, child-centered environment designed to address the six developmental pathways: cognitive, ethical, psychological, social, physical, and language.

This school has strong PTA support with target goals to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
