P S 66 provides a strong curriculum and educational initiatives that encourage students to become critical thinkers and educational achievers. School goals are accomplished when the staff, parents, students and community work as partners to provide enriching educational experiences. The ultimate objective is to challenge all students to become self-motivated, lifelong learners and contributing members of society. Their faculty and staff are committed and dedicated to providing an excellent education for all students. Students enjoy many programs to develop their reading and writing skills and a great deal of emphasis is placed upon the application of skills to situations that require problem solving and critical thinking. Computer technology is integrated into each curriculum area and enrichment programs such as Chorus, Band, Orchestra, and Math.
