When you visit Owen D. Young Central School, you have to look at it a bit differently than other schools throughout New York. All students from kindergarten to graduating the 12th grade attend the school. This provides the opportunity for students to build a lifelong bond with classmates, teachers, staff, and their own community while learning in a safe and fostering environment.

The school has an excellent teacher/student ratio, which provides a more individual program for every student to achieve success in all aspects of their educational needs.
Along with providing educational needs, Owen D. Young Central School offers several athletic programs for students to learn to cooperate in a team or achieve success in individual sports. The sports available at Owen D. Young Central School include varsity soccer, JV soccer, modified soccer, varsity basketball, JV basketball, modified basketball, modified track, varsity track, varsity golf, varsity volleyball, JV volleyball, modified volleyball, and varsity baseball.
