The Otisville Elementary School is a small community school located in the village of Otisville, New York. It is part of the larger Minisink Valley Central School District, and is comprised of grades Kindergarten through 3rd Grade with approximately 400 students.
The Otisville School Building is of historical quality. The original building was built in 1914, with an addition in 1933 and further renovations in 1984. Prior to merging with the newly created Minisink Valley Central School District in 1973, our school was a K-12 building and district.
The school wishes all students to be safe, engaging environment that values all members of the community and encourages them to pursue their full potential as life-long learners and respectful citizens. The teachers make every effort to incorporate literacy learning in all areas of learning: social studies, science, math, health, physical education, and the arts. Parents with children attending this public School enjoy the fact the district have small classrooms, caring, dedicated teachers, and the desire of the school for parent involvement.
The Otisville Elementary School strives to be a nurturing, learner-centered community school that focuses on the development of the whole child via: cultivating each child's love of learning; supporting collaborative faculty and staff professional development and endeavors; establishing effective home/school partnerships.
