Mount Sinai Middle School is filled with various clubs and activities that students really enjoy. Students are encouraged to take part in school activities so that they may meet people, make friends, and gain a sense of pride in their school community. Teachers make use of developed age-appropriate integrated learning experiences for the center that are linked with the New York State Learning Standards. Their work included marking of nature trails, exhibits, field guides, exploratory activities, and teacher training. The Mount Sinai Middle teachers work with a broad academic range of students and have developed differentiated enriching programs to meet the needs of all. The highly trained staff is watchful to the needs of every child. This results in the early identification of problems and prompt remediation by skilled professionals, as well as the development of programs that challenge all students to reach their potential.
