Merrimac School is actively working with all children to provide a foundation for students to reach their maximum potential through comprehensive, exact standards to opportunities to allow children to be independent thinkers, problem solvers, and responsible citizens. The academic programs are in alignment with the New York State Learning Standards and district curricula goals. Student’s behavior, work habits and attitudes are reinforced with parental cooperation and involvement will be fostered through open communication while achieving and complying with district initiatives. They aim to develop inquiring, caring, confident, principled and academically successful students who will become contributors in the creation of a better school, home, neighborhood and global community.
