Malone Middle School is located at 15 Francis Street Malone, NY. This New York Public School handles the educational needs for the town of Malone New York, located in Franklin County for all grades from 6 through 8. Good values are being taught through the cooperative effort of the students, staff, and community, Malone Middle School provides a healthy, supportive environment, which prepares students for the future and life long learning.

Nestled in the northwestern part of the Adirondack Park, the Malone Central School District is made up of a mix of farmland, state and private forests, the village of Malone, and several smaller communities.

The first school building in the village of Malone was constructed here in 1806 of logs cut from virgin timber on the lot. A second stone building was built in 1831. The third building of brick was constructed in 1868 and was destroyed by fire in 1880.

The Malone Middle School is a grade 6-8 building serving approximately 600 students. This is the sole middle school building in the district, thus serving all district students in these grade levels.

The recipient of a three-year, half-million dollar Comprehensive School Reform Demonstration Grant, the middle school has become filled with exciting and innovative academic change for the purpose of improved student performance.
