Main Street Elementary School is located at 430 Main Street East Aurora, NY. Main Street Elementary School is nestled on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake, in the heart of the Finger Lakes region of New York State and currently educates Grades 3 through 5 for the Community of Aurora in Erie County.

Cultural opportunities have been sponsored through staff efforts in coordination with the support of the Elementary PTO. In addition to music classes, all fourth and fifth grade students participate in Chorus and have the opportunity to join Band or Orchestra. Winter and spring concerts feature the musical talents of our students.

Main Street Elementary offers some additional unique opportunities. Star Lab (a portable planetarium) is used with specific activities developed for each grade level. A camera located at nearby Sinking Ponds is controlled via computer by students at school. Classrooms utilize a polycom unit for distance learning with direct communication with other educational institutions.
