Lee Avenue School staff works hard to ensure that all students receive a standards-based, quality education consisting of English language arts, social studies, science, math, and interdisciplinary studies. The students enjoy the use of computers in the computer laboratory, the library media center and in their classrooms, as part of Lee Avenue commitment to integrate technology into the curriculum. Children also enjoy participating in chorus, orchestra, band, studio art, and the Great Books program. Special lunchtime activities include; art, music, library and computer clubs, Banana Splits, Social Skills groups and organized recreational games.

Lee Avenue School follows the New York State Board of Regents adopted learning standards for all areas of study. The New York State Education Department issues the core curricula and these core curricula’s are the foundation upon which State assessments are aligned and developed. There is an abundance of student services available within the school for every age student.
