Laurens Central School is located at 55 Main Street Laurens, NY and it serves grades K-12 in Otsego County. At Laurens Central School students are members of “teams”. It is within these teams that students learn Science, Math, English/Language Arts, Social Studies and either French or Spanish. In addition, our students take a variety of special area courses; including Physical Education, Art, Music, Consumer Science, Technology, Skills, Computers, and Health.

There also are a number of extra-curricular activities for our students that include; interscholastic athletics, award winning band and chorus groups, the infotech wiz kid’s computer club, Science Fair, Annual Washington D.C. Trip, French club, student council, yearbook and more. As you can see, our students at LCS have many opportunities to grow both academically and socially.

They are all working hard to make Laurens Central School the best school that it can be. Laurens Central School has a goal is to cultivate a sense of pride in their students, the schools, and the community. The Board of Education, school staff, parents, students, and other members of the community share responsibility for this mission.
