Kingsborough School is located at 24 West Eleventh Avenue in Gloversville, New York. This is one of the four elementary schools in Gloversville City School District offering a wonderful education for students in kindergarten through 5th grades. However, this is the only elementary school within the district that does not offer a pre-kindergarten program.

The mission statement of Kingsborough School states, “Kingsborough School strives to provide a stimulating and safe environment for the educational success of our children through the cooperative efforts of our school and the community. Our mission is to develop in our students the academic, social, emotional, and physical skills they need to be successful in secondary education and beyond. In this way we will prepare and promote our children to be productive members of our society and to have a life long eagerness to learn in our ever-changing world.”

Along with providing innovative educational programs Kingsborough School offers a variety of enrichment activities including after school intramural sports for 4th and 5th grades, after school enrichment including such classes as music, French, movement and dance, library week, banana splits, Big Buddies/Little Buddies, Odyssey of the Mind, Science Fair, Student Council, Student of the Week, TV workshop, and Library Helpers.
