J.H.S. 127 Castle Hill strong character education program sets the backdrop for an emphasis on respect, responsibility, and cooperation. Frequent curriculum updates, relevant staff development training, and an emphasis on writing instruction in all subjects have contributed to their success. The educational program is designed to foster strong academic skills, self-esteem, social competence, and problem solving abilities within an inclusive environment. Teachers believe that children learn best when information is presented in a way that makes sense to them and is of high interest. The connection between home and school is paramount.
