Jhs 123-James M. Kiernan curricula, scheduling, and staffing have helped James M. Kiernan to provide a safe, caring, and challenging environment that meets the diverse needs of the Jhs school students. High expectations for academic excellence, coupled with opportunities in the arts, athletics, and special areas encourage students to explore areas of interest and to achieve their best. Interdisciplinary teams integrate instruction and provide students with a nurturing atmosphere in which to succeed. A strong character education program sets the backdrop for an emphasis on respect, responsibility, and cooperation.
