About

Horace Greeley High School is located at 70 Roaring Brook Road Chappaqua, NY serving grades 9-12 in Westchester County. Westchester County is home to more indoor and outdoor activities that can keep anyone entertained with most any special interest they care to pursue. School Officials aim to teach every student educational excellence that will help students achieve their full potential intellectually, physically, socially, morally and culturally. Staff Members want to input innovative courses, programs and activities designed to help students to deal competently with these changes and to prepare them for effective citizenship.

This New York school serves a diverse, multilingual student population of immigrants to the United States. They seek to provide each student with a language-rich learning experience that moves them to a point where they can read, write and communicate effectively in English and their native language. The students will learn to use their minds well to critically analyze and respond to complex real-world issues. They will use what they learn to become successful academically and professionally and to become advocates for themselves and their communities.

This School applies the same principles set forth by the district as well as the other schools along with providing an education that will aid students in becoming leaders in our democratic society and in their community. Teachers and staff work alongside parents and community leaders to provide the best possible learning environment with top educational opportunities for the students. Teachers are dedicated to providing an excellent learning environment where students will be trained to become successful.
