Herkimer High School endorses the idea that students will be living longer into the 21st century. By giving them the tool of technology as soon as possible in school, we will better prepare them for college and in the workforce. Students need to be able to use a wide variety of technological tools to enhance their future success as students and workers.

Technology maximizes productivity and efficiency and enables schools to better prepare students for future learning. This includes the ability to access, analyze and communicate information, think critically and creatively and work cooperatively and productively with others.

Vision statements for technology integration express the fundamental beliefs that guide a district in their efforts to infuse technology into the instructional and administrative programs.

Families are welcomed to a very proud and friendly school. Students enjoy very small class room sizes and are taught by outstanding teachers in learning areas such as; social studies, science, math, health, physical education, and the arts.
