Gowanda Middle School is located at 10674 Prospect Street Gowanda, NY. This middle school has a rare entrance that honors Native Americans. Nearly 25 % of the student body that attend this middle school are from the Seneca Nation of Indians. Enrollments are accepted for grade levels 5th through 8th. Teachers are very committed to teaching these bright minds and making them ready for grade advancements while preserving the ethics and cultural environment every parent expects. The staff and teachers work right along with parents to provide one of the best teaching experiences for pupils.

There is powerful community support in the area with all types of activities outside the classroom for students around town. In September, a six-week, co-ed recreational soccer program for children ages 8-13 follows. When the soccer program ends, Friday night roller skating begins at the Center Street School for students attending grades K-6. There are several different cultures and religious backgrounds attending Gowanda Middle School all receiving solid basic learning skills.
