Eastport-South Manor Junior Senior High School understands that no two students learn in the same way, each team utilizes a variety of instructional techniques including blocked periods, lecture, cooperative learning and projects. It is not uncommon to see a variety of student projects on display throughout the school year. In addition to social studies, math, science and language arts, students participate in a variety of special area classes including: reading, art, music, computers, technology, home and careers, physical education, band and chorus. A number of formal and informal programs are offered to help students who have difficulty learning, as well as for those students with disabilities. All students are encouraged to supplement their academic program with a variety of electives offered in art, instrumental and vocal music, technology, business education, English, science, math, family and consumer science and social studies.
