East View Elementary School is located at 690 East Spring Street Olean, NY. The school is very modern and it was built in 1971. Pre-Kindergarten through 5th, attend this school located in Cattaraugus County. East View Elementary believes in close communications between home and school is very important to children’s success. Parents are provided with important school news and events, including a monthly calendar of activities. It’s “Reading First” for students attending this elementary school with the common goal that all young students be able to read by the end of the third grade. To help meet the goal student receive a minimum of 90 minutes of reading instruction each day.

East View Elementary School even provides a reading Coach that works along side the teachers to development training that accompanies the program used for reading.
