Crotona Academy High School
About
Crotona Academy High School follows the New York State Board of Regents adopted learning standards for all areas of study. The New York State Education Department issues the core curricula and these core curricula’s are the foundation upon which State assessments are aligned and developed. The school honors the students, teachers, support staff, and parents for their desire to work and seek continued improvement for each and every child. Classes are set up using the portfolio-based workshop structure. Students have the standard classes to meet the State and Regents requirements from the Math, Science, and English Departments, for example. They also have the opportunity to explore their creative side and learn new ways to express themselves with various electives or Music or Performing Arts class.
