The staff of teachers and other officials works closely with parents and the entire community to provide the best education possible for students. Graduation from this New York School must be in accordance with standards set by the Board of Regents of the New York State Education Department and the Corning-Painted Post Area Board of Education.
A diploma will be granted to students who complete 22/24 units of credit and meet the requirements of the Regents Testing program. Recognizing the uniqueness of each student, the school staff pledges to foster a desire for educational excellence that will help students achieve their full potential intellectually, physically, socially, morally and culturally. Acknowledging the rapid social, cultural, economical, political and technological changes in American society, the school encourages innovative courses, programs and activities designed to help our students to deal competently with these changes and to prepare them for effective citizenship.
The staff is first-rate. They are knowledgeable, energetic, and committed to the students and their families. The school is very fortunate to have such dedicated staff members who care about each other and each child. You will find this school community very active working with all children to provide a foundation for students to reach their maximum potential through a comprehensive, exact standard to opportunities to empower children to be independent thinkers, problem solvers, and responsible citizens.
The CPP East high school is an International Baccalaureate World School & was ranked by Newsweek as one of top schools in the nation.
