Cherry Avenue Elementary School has been serving the community for 50 years. Parents and teachers work hand in hand to support the educational programs. Students have the opportunity to participate in chorus, band, and orchestra and select chorus performing for their peers and their families. Testing results demonstrate that the vast majority of our students are performing at mastery level. Their train of self-esteem has taken students through activities to strengthen positive character traits. The teachers feel it is a privilege to teach at Cherry Avenue Elementary School and keep to the goals and ideas to help students to become a life-long learner who is literate, confident, caring and self-motivated. They know it can be accomplish by close collaboration with parents and community by providing a competent, enthusiastic staff who presents a challenging curriculum in a safe, nurturing environment.
