C.E. Walters School children are engaged in physical education activities every day. Teachers are dedicated to meeting the needs of all children by building upon their strengths and talents. The caring and safe environment encourages every student to grow into accomplished, self-assured, life long learners. Students are working to improve their skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening during their basic studies. The primary focus is on the improvement of student achievement in a spirit of collaboration with administrators, faculty, staff, parents and community members. The school makes use of the Academic Intervention Services (AIS) include additional instruction and/or student support services which supplement the instruction provided in the general curriculum and assist students in meeting the New York State learning standards.
