Carthage High School is committed to offering the students an environment free from distraction and interruption, where development of the mind and body are a priority and where students are given the necessary tools to prepare them to be integral and successful members of the community. Part of that commitment comes in the form of the Code of Conduct and other disciplinary plans and procedures to insure the environment here remains safe and free from as many distractions as possible.

At Carthage Senior High School the fine arts team pride themselves in offering a high level of fine art education for our students. During the course of the school year our students participate in many art shows and musical performances throughout the region and we are proud of the quality of work and awards received.

A school-based health center is provided by Carthage Area Hospital at Carthage Central High School for High School and Middle School students. It is a unique health care model in which comprehensive physical, mental and preventative health services are provided to school-aged youth in the school setting.
