The curricula and practices are designed to provide a foundation in basic skills required to enjoy the benefits, meet the obligations and exercise the responsibilities that are incumbent upon individuals in a democratic society.
The philosophy of education at Caledonia-Mumford Junior/Senior High School emanates from the recognition that humans are intelligent, moral, aesthetic, emotional and physical beings who are both individuals and a part of their social community.
Caledonia-Mumford High School realizes that people are social creatures, the goal of the school is to foster a spirit of cooperation among all members of the educational community (a) that is developed through participation intellectual, social, and athletic activities and (b) which stresses the necessity to respect law in order to gain the benefits that are derived when individuals work together for a common cause.
