Berkshire Junior-Senior High School is located at 13640 Route 22 Canaan, NY. It is the only school located in the Berkshire Union Free School District and it provides education for grades 7-12. The teachers at Berkshire make great efforts to ensure that core curriculum is meaningful, innovative, and abides by the New York State learning standards. The curriculum coordinator works closely with administration, grade levels, and departments to ensure that curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students. Additionally, staff analyzes state and local test results as a means of changing curriculum and instruction.

Berkshire Junior-Senior High School works with technology integration and activities that provide opportunities for problem solving, students at the high school level gradually become accountable for their own learning.

The School encourages parents to get involved and firmly believes its right, as parents can contribute to the success of the school to help guide the school board to ensure all students receive the best education possible while maintaining a social environment for the students to learn and grow into mature upstanding citizens.
