Bellamy Elementary School is located at 7118 Brennan Avenue Rome, NY and grades K-4 attend this school in Oneida County, New York. Bellamy School participates in the Y.M.C.A. after school program. This program is designed to help students with their homework and provide them with a snack and some play time. It is open to all Bellamy students K-4; as well as a few students from other schools in the district.
Bellamy Elementary School wants all students to be safe, engaging environment that values all members of the community and encourages them to pursue their full potential as life-long learners and respectful citizens. The teachers make every effort to incorporate literacy learning in all areas of learning: social studies, science, math, health, physical education, and the arts.
Parents with children attending Bellamy Elementary School enjoy the fact the district have small classrooms, caring, dedicated teachers, and the desire of the school for parent involvement. Parents are welcome to visit anytime and even enjoy eating lunch with their child or help in the classroom. The staff and teachers adhere to a quality education and do not allow others to interfere in the educational process such as disruptions.
Bellamy Elementary School believes in working with the whole child and strives to make the transition from childhood to adolescence a positive time of the student’s development that will allow all students to achieve to the best of their abilities.
