Bayview Elementary School is one of six Elementary Schools in the West Islip Union Free School District. Bayview works hard to develop life-long learners with the skills and knowledge that enables them to contribute to the community as productive and responsible citizens. It is the joint responsibility of the teachers, parents, students and community to provide the resources and learning environment that nurtures and develops the individual skills, strengths and talents of all students. Success would not be possible without the support of the community. There are very active with organizations that support to the schools. This school continually encourages parents to become involved in the numerous school committees that address school improvement issues.
