Averill Park High School

About

Averill Park High School is located at 146 Gettle Road Averill Park, NY and it provides education for grades 9-12 in Rensselaer County. This school is governed by the Averill Park Central School District Board of education. The students are provided a multitude of opportunities which are available in larger schools, while maintaining a small school atmosphere. Technology is incorporated in many classrooms, and our mix of older and younger faculty provides a unique blend of backgrounds, opportunities, and ideals for students to respond to.

Averill Park High School is nestled in the eastern part of the Capitol Region of Albany, New York, where the students have the opportunity to experience the best of what city and country life have to offer. Only three hours from both New York City and Boston, and four hours from Montreal, we are centrally located to enjoy much of what is offered for cultural experience even on a world level. Students are involved in a multitude of sporting, after school, and community programs.

Each year, students are given new opportunities to expand their minds and knowledge base, as the environment of the school responds to changes in culture and anticipates future developments.
