East Middle School is located at 191 Franklin Street in Auburn, New York. The school provides a quality education for students in grades 6th through 8th.
The mission of East Middle School is to work along side the community and family to create well-educated, productive, and caring individuals that grow in character, integrity, and social responsibility. The school strives to provide a safe environment while helping students with the transition from elementary school and being prepared for high school.
Along with a quality education East Middle School offers many before and after programs. A few of the programs include The Schweinfurth memorial Art Center offers a free Art After School program and the Booker T. Washington Teen Scene Program. Students can also choose from a variety of extra-curricular activities including arts, dance, athletics, leadership clubs, and pro-social recreational games.
Staff and teachers along with the community and family work together to provide the best learning environment where students can learn at their own level and become productive members of their community and society.
